Chisco García is one of the most experienced executives in supply chain management and sustainable transformation in the fashion industry. With more than thirty years of professional career, García has been trained in the world’s leading fashion and business schools and has held senior positions in leading companies in the sector, including the Inditex group, Desigual and Lacoste.
He is an experienced team leader and has worked with stakeholders at all levels in Southeast Asia,Turkey, Tunisia, Morocco, South America and Portugal, among other markets.
PDG from IESE, the executive has completed his education with programs in sustainable fashion andleadership at institutions such as Harvard University, Central Saint Martin’s or the Fashion Institute ofTechnology, and he is a First Mover Fellow of the Aspen Institute, a program aimed at innovative executives within their companies and industries who drive change with a positive impact on the world.
In his more than twenty years of experience, García has been purchasing director at Massimo Dutti, director of Lacoste and category manager at Desigual. In 2013, he returned to the Inditex group to take over the management of sustainability and supply chain at Oysho, where he led the largest sustainability transformation process of the chain. Since 2020, he has been a member of the advisory board of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
Currently, García leads the 3S Institute platform, of which he is founder and which is defined as a think tank focused on supply chain, procurement and sustainability. The project aims to transform supply chains to improve the lives of people, the environment and affected communities through the design and implementation of an action plan with concrete projects, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
